Public outreach is getting started for Central BK’s Rapid Bus Routes
“We are starting the public outreach for Bus Rapid Transit. We’re gonna be delivering Bus Rapid Transit right here on Flatbush by 2030, and on Church and Utica as well.”
It's been just a few weeks since the Mayor, DOT, and MTA released their citywide bus plan, and the Office of Mass Engagement is already getting their community engagement going for the Central Brooklyn projects, which includes 3 ‘Rapid Bus Routes’ on Flatbush Avenue, Church Avenue, and Utica Avenue.
As part of their outreach efforts, they've created a Central Brooklyn dashboard with a project overview, an interactive feedback map to leave comments about the challenges you're dealing with as a bus rider, pedestrian, cyclist, or other road user, and plans for an upcoming community meeting on Thursday, August 6.
